Victoria Kingrey of Glasgow and Erica McWhorter Hill of Albany were both awarded the degree of Doctor of Nursing Practice during the spring and summer graduation commencement held at Western Kentucky University. The Doctor of Nursing Practice degree represents a terminal degree in Nursing and is designed to enhance the proficiency and leadership of advanced practice nurses. Both Kingrey and Hill are employed at Cumberland County Hospital and would like to thank the hospital for its support in helping them obtain this degree.

Erica received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2005 and her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2008 from Western Kentucky University.

She is the wife of Jereme Hill and daughter of Ned and Sue McWhorter all of Albany. She has been employed as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2008 at Flowers Rural Health Clinic, a division of Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, KY.
