Long time Albany businessman Keith Garrett, 63, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2015 at his residence in Clinton County. He was the former owner of Shell Quick Mart, Keith’s Dollar Mart, and Garrett’s Auto Sales.

He was the son of the late Ryan and Vera (Sells) Garrett and was also preceded in death by two sons, Terry Dale and Kenny Wayne Garrett; a sister, Doris Faye Garrett; and a brother, Bobby Garrett.

He is survived by his wife, Debra (Jones) Garrett; a son Brian (Tammy) Garrett; two daughters, Kimberly (Nathan) Stockton and Keisha Garrett, all of Albany; a brother, Willie (Paulette) Garrett, New Castle, Indiana; a sister, Sue (Willie) Rose, Burkesville, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Felicia Worth, Brandon, Dustin, and Madison Garrett, Keitha Stockton, Aidan and Andrew Whittenburg, and Anthony Poore; three great-grandchildren, Bryce and Bentli Worth and Shealynn Garrett; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Pastor Melvin Daniel and Jesse M. Stockton, Jr. officiating. Burial in Peolia Cemetery in Clinton County. Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany was in charge of arrangements. Online condolences at www.campbell-new.com.
