People from several counties in the region made their way to neighboring Pickett County, Tennessee this past Saturday for the grand opening event of Country Farm and Home.

The new facility features several separate buildings and pavilions that offer agriculture supplies, home supplies, decorating items and a complete line of building materials and products as well as appliances and lawn mowing equipment and service.

The new facility is located on Hwy. 111 in Byrdstown.

Above and below, First & Farmers National Bank held it’s annual customer appreciation day Friday by cooking lunch for anyone who stopped by.

On Saturday, several prizes were handed out at Mattress & More to celebrate its customer appreciation day.
