Eudoxie “Doxie” (York) Bertram, 93, Asheville, North Carolina and formerly of Albany, passed away Monday, September 28, 2015 in Asheville. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Minnie (Catron) York. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Murl Bertram, a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Bertram, three sisters, Loudell Evans Hurst, Helen Blevins and Hazel Dean York, and a brother, Lee Arnold York.

She is survived by two sons, Bob L. Bertram, Burkesville, KY Larry V. (Gail) Bertram, New Castle, IN; two daughters, Gayla Bertram and Linda Bertram (Dimitri) Melisiotis, Asheville, N.C.; a sister, Virginia Maxine Harlow, Springport, IN; two sisters-in-law, Kimbell Bertram Fanin, Springport, IN; Mary Bertram Snead, Middletown, IN; also 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 2 at 10 a.m. at Campbell-New Funeral Home with Pastor Ted Burchett officiating. Final resting place in Cartwright Cemetery.
