Albany United took two teams to the 18th annual Kentucky Invitational Bible Quiz Tournament in Louisville, Kentucky a few weeks ago. There were 26 teams in attendance from all over the region including South Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee to name a few.

Preliminary rounds began on Friday afternoon and continued to Saturday at noon wherein all teams quizzed one another to be seated for tournament play.

The Albany United Blue team consisting of Amber Cross, Dylan Caudle, Chris Claborn and Silas Melton made the Gold Division and placed 6th out of the 26 teams present. Amber Cross was recognized for her individual score being in the top 20 quizzers. Albany United Red team, made up of Tehgan Hurd, Brianna Sparks, Victoria White and Hayley Brown, placed 5th in the Bronze Division.
