Lonnie Edward Melton, 68, of Albany, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Cumberland County Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father, the late Roy Lee Melton, a daughter Crystal Melton, a grandchild Brianna Wofford, and a sister, Deborah Jean Sells.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma Gaye Melton; his mother, Creola Richard, all of Albany; two daughters, Tina (Richard) Taylor, Albany, and Lori (Brian) Wofford, Danville, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Ella Wofford, James Taylor, and Caitlin Taylor; one brother, Granville (Rita) Melton, Albany; one sister, Sue (Darrell) Jenkins, Albany; one step-brother, Larry Richard, Louisville, Kentucky; four step-sisters, Rachael Stinson, Burkesville, Kentucky, Jenny Richard, Columbia, Kentucky, Carolyn Highbough and Barbara Sneed, both of Louisville.

Services will be held Wednesday, October 28, 2015, 1 p.m., at Weldon Haddix Funeral Home, with Bro. Ronnie Gray and Bro. Scott Jones officiating. Burial will be in Cave Springs Cemetery.
