The Healthy Hometown Coalition spearheaded the effort to resurface the walking track and contributed $15,000 to the project.

The city and county governments contributed $7,500 each, while Gaddie-Shamrock donated $20,000 of materials to the project. The Healthy Hometown Coalition would like to thank Judge Executive Richard Armstrong and the Fiscal Court, Mayor Nicky Smith and the City Council, and Gaddie-Shamrock for their help in improving the park and making Clinton County a more walkable community.
