Clinton Grand Jury returns true bills last week

The Clinton County Grand Jury convened last Thursday, November 5 and returned the following indictments in open Circuit Court:

* William T. Brown, the alleged offenses of manufacturing methamphetamine, Class B felony; possession of a controlled substance first degree, Class D felony; marijuana cultivation under five plants, Class A misdemeanor; possession of marijuana, Class B misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia, Class A misdemeanor.

* Bertha L. Mitchell, the alleged offenses of manufacturing methamphetamine, Class B felony; possession of a controlled substance first degree, Class D felony; marijuana cultivation under five plants, Class A misdemeanor; possession of marijuana, Class B misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia, Class A misdemeanor.

* Jamie R. Cooper, the alleged offense of assault second degree, Class C felony.

* Joshua L. Bliss, criminal mischief first degree, Class D felony.

* Christopher Posey, the alleged offense of persistent felony offender first degree by having allegedly committed the offense of theft by unlawful taking more than $500 but less than $10,000 after having been stood convicted of a prior felony offense.

* Thomas Joe Tucker, the alleged offense flagrant nonsupport, being in arrearage of $17,361.49 as of November 5, 2015.
