John Everett Mackey, 40, Nicholasville, Kentucky, passed away Monday, November 9, 2015 at UK Medical Center in Lexington. He worked for the Jessamine County EMS for 16 years and was a paramedic at the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife, Janine Mackey; a son, James Conner; two daughters, Morgan and Brianna; his parents, Joe and Doris Kinney; a brother, Mike; a sister, Deb; paternal grandmother, Alberta Murray; father and mother-in-law, Ron and Vicki Kline; sister-in-law, Alisha Hauser; also several nieces and nephews.
