Anna Louise Thompson, 83, New Castle, Indiana and a native of Albany, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Heritage House in New Castle. She was a graduate of Clinton County High School, daughter of the late Walter and Dessie (Thomas) DeRossett and was also preceded in death by a brother, Glenn DeRossett. Anna assisted her husband in the ministry for 42 years, pastoring churches in Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio. She attended New Castle Pilgrim Holiness Church.

She is survived by her husband, Rev. John R. Thompson; her children, Bob (Ellen) Thompson, Avon, IN; Jerry Thompson, Fairland, IN; Debra (Joseph) Raimondi, New Milford, PA; two sisters, Ruby Morrison, Ryan, OH; Jean Anderson, Sherwood, OH; a brother, Sam (Ann) DeRossett, Sherwood, OH; five grandchildren, Andrea, Steven and Jonathan Thompson, Rebecca Taylor and Katriana Raimondi; five great-grandchildren, Devan, Katelynn, Natalie and Jace Thompson and Brielynn Taylor; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Sproles Family Funeral Home with final resting place in South Mount Cemetery West Lawn Addition in New Castle.
