local volunteers process Operation Christmas Child boxes

Several volunteers from Clinton County involved in the annual Operation Christmas Child project accompanied the shoeboxes last week to the project central warehouse in Charlotte, North Carolina to unload and process the donation that was collected here, and the Clinton County News went along with them. The project, as showcased in an article featured in last week’s Clinton County News, involved 14 churches and four clubs from Clinton County, as well as churches from Cumberland County and a host of individual volunteers who collected and assembled 1,865 shoeboxes. The boxes will be sent to underprivileged children in impoverished countries throughout the world.

If you, your family or group is planning a trip, take along your copy of the Clinton County News and make a photo with it during the trip and we’ll publish it. Photos can be emailed to: gpcompany@kih.net
