Clinton grand jury indicts three

The Clinton County Grand Jury had a light regular session to end the 2015 year, convening a week ago Thursday, December 3. A trio of indictments were returned, as follows:

* Jason L. Savage, the alleged offenses of receiving stolen property, by receiving or retaining a 1988 Harley Davidson motorcycle, having a value of more than $500 but less than $10,000 and persistent felony offender second degree class D felony.

* Jimmy L. Poynter, the alleged offenses of public intoxication, falsely reporting an incident, possession of drug paraphernalia (misdemeanors) and possession of a controlled substance first degree, class D felony.

* Aaron Shearer, the alleged offenses of flagrant non-support and persistent felony offender second degree.
