, 78, of Albany, passed away Monday, December 21, 2015 at Cumberland County Hospital, in Burkesville, Kentucky. He was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church and son of the late Robert and Ruby Claborn. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Doris Boles and Diane Claborn, and one brother, Bobby “Bimbo” Claborn.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Claborn; two daughters, Ann Claborn (Kent) and Tonya (Lonnie) Thrasher; two sons, Larry (Kathryn) and Michael (Pina) Claborn, all of Albany; five sisters, Addie Marie Ireland, Louisville, Ky., Sue Young, Jean Littrell, Pearl Ferguson, and Donna Cross, all of Albany; 11 grandchildren, Jamie Claborn, Ashley Poore, Stephanie Staton, Krystal, Leah, Rachael, Bethany, and Christopher Claborn, Preslee, Adrianna, and Barry Douglas Thrasher; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Wm. Corb Hicks and Dr. Carol Peddicord officiating. Burial was in Peolia Cemetery.

Talbott Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
