Ted E. Aaron, 83, Albany, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015. He was a Kentucky Colonel, member of the Kentucky Economic Development Board, a former Albany City Council member, member of the Albany Lions Club, a 60 year veteran of the Albany Fire Department, a member of Highway Church of the Nazarene, and a veteran of the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Aaron; a daughter, Teresa (Anthony) Wilson, all of Albany; a son, Teddy (Teresa) Aaron, Christianburg, VA; a sister, Mary Hoots, New Castle, IN; a brother, Jack Aaron, Albany; six grandchildren, Amy (Junior) Cecil, Jessica (Grady) Cromer, Michael (Julie) Wilson, Melissa (Brent) Brusseau, Sarah (Chris) Browning and Meredith (Matt) Spencer; also seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Grant officiating. Final resting place in Memorial Hill Cemetery with Military Honors. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany. Memorials are suggested to the Albany Fire Department.
