Rev. Hiland Paul Simpson, age 88, of Albany, Kentucky a native of Cumberland, County, Kentucky, passed away, Saturday, January 16, 2016, at his residence in Clinton County, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Rev. Cothburn Winton and Noxie (Hogan) Simpson.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Lou (Legg) Simpson; two sisters, Vela Horsley of Owensboro, Kentucky, and Martha Gay (Fred) Grigsby of Macon, Georgia; a sister-in-law, Patty (Opie) Mitchell of Elkview, West Virginia, and many friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Jones, Mr. Opie Mitchell and Chaplain Michael Allen officiating.
