Clinton County High Academic Team takes first in District Governor’s Cup final standings

The Clinton County High School Academic Team competed in the District Governor’s Cup competition at Monroe County High School on Saturday, January 30, 2016. In Mathematics, Zach Garmon placed fourth and Zach McFall placed first. In Science, Jared Upchurch placed fifth, Zach Garmon placed third, and Levi Neathery placed second. In Social Studies, Jared Upchurch placed third, Levi Neathery placed second, and Noah Stockton placed first. In Language Arts, Chandra Tallent placed fourth. In Arts and Humanities, Zach McFall placed first. The Future Problem solving team, consisting of Tori Beaty, Matthew Hunter, Frank Zheng, and Vivian Zheng, placed first. The Quick Recall team, consisting of Matthew Hunter, Frank Zheng, Levi Neathery, Jared Grant, Zach McFall, Noah Stockton, Zach Garmon, Jared Upchurch, Mildred Dominguez, Sidney Dominguez, Chandra Tallent, and Mary Willen Cross, placed second. Overall, the team took first place in final standings.
