Clinton Middle School Academic Team wins District Governor’s Cup

Middle School Academic Team competed in District Governor’s Cup at Cumberland County Middle School on Tuesday, January 19 as well as Thursday and Friday, January 28 and 29. The Quick Recall team placed fist. The FPS team placed third. The following students placed in Written Assessment: Dalton Gregory (1st in Mathematics); David Guffey (1st in Science); Jake Boils (3rd in Science); Conlan Beck (1st in Social Studies and 2nd in Arts & Humanities); Paige Hicks (1st in Language Arts and 3rd in Composition); Camrick Wright (3rd in Language Arts); Jaden Mullins (1st in Arts & Humanities); Moriah Moons (4th in Composition).

Abi Young, Rachel Sawyers, Kendra Cross and Sidney Albertson place 3rd in Future Problem Solving (FPS). The entire team will compete in Regional Governor’s Cup Competition on Saturday, February 13 at Monroe County Middle School.
