James F. (Matador) Polston, 66, Harper Lane, Albany, passed away Friday, January 29, 2016 at Clinton County Hospital. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and son of the late Rube A. and Floreen Cowan Polston.

He is survived by a daughter, Chasity Polston (Scott) Stearns; seven sisters, Uthal (Frosty) Graham, Ruth (Quenton) Cole, Flonnie (Bobby Gene) Tapley, Lois (Larry) Jones, Bell (Van) Jones, Anita (O.D.) Dowell, Judy (Phil) Nelson; and one granddaughter, Kyla Alexis Stearns, all of Albany.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Weldon Haddix Funeral Home with Bro. David Stearns officiating. Final resting place in Craig Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Weldon Haddix Funeral Home of Albany.
