Bro. Larry Lee Waid, 64, Albany, passed away Monday, January 25, 2016 at Clinton County Hospital. He was pastor of Beech Bottom Baptist Church, son of the late Neil and Virginia Waid and was also preceded in death by seven brothers, John, Dennis, Chuck, Steve, James, Patrick and Tim Waid and two sisters, Phyllis Owens and Sarah Pruitt.

He is survived by his wife, Julie Albertson Waid; four daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Tim Guffey; Tammy and B.J. McClellan; Kristie and Ritchie Burchett; Carol and Brent Cross; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Rita Waid; Daniel and Rita Waid; Benjamin and Gail Waid; a sister, Elizabeth Brown; six grandchildren, Kaylee and Hunter Burchett, Nandry and Mattie Guffey and Carrie and Emma McClellan; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Melvin Daniel officiating. Final resting place in Five Springs Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Beech Bottom Baptist Church Building Fund. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
