Willia “Aunt Bill” Hicks Smith, 107, the oldest resident of Cumberland County, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2016 at Cumberland Valley Manor in Burkesville, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Timothy Freeman and Fannie (Lee) Hicks, wife of the late Raymond Smith and a member of Parrish Chapel United Methodist Church.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Parrish Chapel United Methodist Church with Bro. Jimmy Powell and Keith Radford officiating. Final resting place will be in Smith Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Saturday, February 13 at Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville and after 1 p.m. until time of service Sunday, February 14 at the church. Arrangements are being made through Norris-New Funeral Home of Burkesville, Kentucky.
