Georgia M. Guffey, 87, New Castle, Indiana and a native of Albany, passed away Monday, May 30, 2011 at her home. She was the wife of the late Jessie Guffey, daughter of the late George M. and Malinda (Crockett) Cross and was also preceded in death by three sisters and a brother. She attended Foursquare Gospel Church.

She is survived by a son, Jesse G. (Connie) Guffey; a daughter, Kathy L. (David) Nantz, New Castle, IN; also four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with final resting place in South Mound Cemetery in New Castle, Indiana.
