Anna “June” Owens, 89, New Castle, Indiana and a native of Albany, passed away Monday, February 22, 2016 at Henry County Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Jesse Morton Benjamin and Erby Mae (Thrasher) Taylor, wife of the late James “Jim” H. Owens and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Faye Owens, two brothers, William “Buster” and Horace Taylor and four sisters, Clara Taylor, Georgia Gibson, Evelyn Willis and Dean Malone.

She is survived by a daughter, Deborah Ann (Donnie) Pyle, New Castle, IN; two grandchildren, Douglas Owen (Amanda) Pyle, Shirley, IN; DeAnna Lauren (Jeff) Watterson, New Castle, IN; also four great-grandchildren, a brother-in-law and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, February 26, 2016 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Services with final resting place in South Mound Cemetery West Lawn Addition. Memorial contributions may be given to Greensboro United Methodist Church, 15 South High Street, Greensboro, IN 47344. Arrangements were made through Hinsey-Brown Funeral Services of New Castle.
