CCMS Elementary Academic team wins District 56 Governor’s Cup

Clinton County Middle School’s Elementary Academic Team competed in District Governor’s Cup on Tuesday and Saturday, February 23 and 27 at Wayne County-Monticello Elementary. Both the Quick Recall and Future Problem Solving Teams placed first. The following students placed in Written Assessment: Evan Little (1st in Arts & Humanities); Emma Tompkins (2nd in Arts & Humanities and 3rd in Social Studies); Claire Guffey (3rd in Arts & Humanities and 3rd in Composition); Loren Little (1st in Language Arts); Sami Criswell (3rd in Language Arts, 2nd in Mathematics, and 4th in Composition); Alex Duvall (5th in Social Studies); Ryan Bair (2nd in Science) ; Ethan Rains (5th in Mathematics)

The Quick Recall team consists of the following students: Ryan Bair, Alex Duvall, Claire Guffey, Evan Little, Loren Little, Sadie Moons, Ethan Rains, and Emma Tompkins.

The FPS team consists of the following students: Ryan Bair, Evan Little, Loren Little, and Ethan Rains.

The entire team advances to Regional Governor’s Cup in Green County on Tuesday and Saturday, March 8 and 12.
