McKenley Johnson, age 79 of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Cumberland County Hospital. McKenley was born in Cumberland County, Kentucky on December 14, 1936 to the late Willie Frank and Lottie Ann Key Johnson. He was a member of Albany Full Gospel Church and a farmer.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce Ann Johnson, and four brothers, Hall Johnson, Paul Johnson, Willie Johnson, and Bobby Johnson.

He is also survived by, his wife, Thelma West Johnson of Burkesville; Kentucky, three sons, Gary (Patricia) Johnson, Larry (Betsy) Johnson, and Ray Johnson all of Burkesville; Kentucky, six grandchildren, Haley (Pat Smith) Johnson, Kimberly (Bryant) Johnson, Larry “Bubby” Johnson, Timothy (Shawnda)Johnson, Dalton Johnson, and Aaron Johnson; two great grandchildren, Milas Smith and Tailee Johnson, and one special grandchild; Skylar Kern; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services were held Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 1 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, with Bro. Ronnie Gray officiating. Burial was in Guthrie Chapel Cemetery.
