Rev. James Riddle, 90, Scottsville, Kentucky and a native of Albany, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Cal Turner Rehab and Specialty Care. He was a general Baptist minister having served numerous churches in Kentucky and Tennessee, a Navy veteran of World War II and member of Community Life Church. He was the son of the late James Wesley and Katherine Matilda Abston Riddle and husband of the late Lois Jean Stockton Riddle. He was also preceded in death by two sons, four sisters and four brothers.

He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Rev. Jimmy W. and Dorothy Riddle and Mike and Rebecca Riddle, all of Scottsville, Kentucky; two daughters, Ruby Guffey, Albany; Shirley DeLoe, Scottsville, Kentucky; two brothers-in-law, Jack Stockton, Indiana, and Jay Stearns, Albany.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Tommy Reels officiating. Final resting place in Red Hill Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Goad Funeral Home of Scottsville, Kentucky.
