The Clinton County Grand Jury had a busy regular session on Thursday, March 3, naming several individuals in true bills, most of which included multi-count charges. Some charges in the multi-count indictments were misdemeanors.
The following indictments were returned by the local grand jury earlier this month:
* Phillip Campbell, the alleged offenses of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana; six counts of wanton endangerment first degree when he allegedly discharged a handgun in a residence with multiple occupants; and possession or use of a radio capable of sending or receiving police messages, the alleged offenses having occurred on or about May 11, 2015.
* Jason G. Craig, the alleged offenses of criminal mischief first degree by destroying or damaging property to Lay Simpson Furniture causing a loss of $1,000 or more; theft by unlawful taking or disposition; burglary third degree; and two counts of persistent felony offender first degree, alleged offenses having on or about January 16.
* Rodney Duvall, the alleged offenses of criminal mischief first degree by destroying or damaging property of Lay Simpson Furniture in the amount of $1,000 or more; theft by unlawful taking or disposition; burglary third degree; and two counts of persistent felony offender first degree, alleged offenses having occurred on or about January 16.
* LaDonna Kempton, the alleged offenses of possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; and possession of a controlled substance first degree, alleged offenses having occurred on or about December 5, 2015.
* James W. Davis, the alleged offenses of possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana; and possession of a controlled substance first degree, alleged offishness having occurred on or about December 5, 2015.
* Timothy R. Stapp, the alleged offenses of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; possession of a controlled substance first degree; possession of marijuana; and trafficking in a controlled substance first degree (methamphetamine), alleged offenses having occurred on or about December 5, 2015.
* Elizabeth A. Troxel, the alleged offenses of four counts of possession of a controlled substance not in original container; two counts of possession of a controlled substance first degree; and two counts of possession of a controlled substance third degree, alleged offenses having occurred on or about December 15, 2015.
* Amy N. Burchett, the alleged offenses of public intoxication; possession of a controlled substance first degree; possession of drug paraphernalia; and possession of marijuana, alleged offenses having occurred on or about December 22, 2015.
* Robbie Davis, the alleged offenses of wanton endangerment first degree, when operating a cement truck, running Jeff Price off the road; and theft by deception, alleged offenses having occurred on or about November 24 and August 29, 2015, respectively.
* Leora Fulton aka Nikki Crabtree, the alleged offenses of theft by unlawful taking or disposition and two counts of persistent felony offender second degree, alleged offenses having occurred on or about January 2.
* William Lafayette Wood, the alleged offense of persistent felony offender second degree for committing the alleged offense of flagrant non-support, alleged offenses having occurred on or about September 1, 2005 through July 9, 2015.
* Billy Craig, the alleged offense of persistent felony offender second degree for committing the alleged offense of manufacturing methamphetamine, alleged offense having occurred on or about November 25, 2015.
* Jamie Helm, the alleged offense of flagrant non-support, alleged offense having occurred on or about December 8, 2008 through February 11, 2016.
* Charles Souders, the alleged offense of flagrant non-support, alleged offense having occurred on or about April 16, 2012 through February 11, 2016.
* Jason Savage, the alleged offense of flagrant non-support, alleged offense having occurred on or about June 24, 2015 through February 11, 2016.
