Darryl Gene Cooper, 46, Alpha, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at UK Healthcare in Lexington, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Billy Gene Cooper.

He is survived by his mother, Brenda Faye (Stonecipher) Cooper; a daughter, Savannah Faye Cooper, both of Alpha, KY; a brother, Eddie Ray Cooper, Winchester, KY; a sister, Jessica Lynn (Christopher) Carver, Ft. Scott, KS; three nieces, Sydney Cooper, Haley Dobbs and Chloe Carver and a nephew, Wyatt Dale Carver.

Funeral services were held Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Campbell-New Funeral Home with Pastor David Dorn officiating. Final resting place in Davis Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Campbell-New Funeral Home of Albany.
