Marion Hugh “Blackie” Brown, 84, Albany, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2016 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delia Brown; his parents, Herbert and Ethel Brown; a sister, Cordelia Hartman; three brothers, J.B., Eugene and Sam Brown and a great-granddaughter, Amber Brown.

He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Eddie and Mary Brown and Tommy and Shelia Brown, all of Albany; three sisters, Leona Pryor, New Castle, IN; Maxine Griffin, Alice (James) Dowell, Albany; three brothers, Marshall Brown, Glasgow, KY; Prentis “Cotton” (Janet) Brown and Bill (Dorothy) Brown, all of Albany; and three grandchildren, Tommy, Emily and Silas Brown.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. David Stearns and Bro. Donnie Shelley officiating. Final resting place in Hillcrest Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
