Howard Spears, 90, Albany, passed away Monday, April 4, 2016 at UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was a veteran of World War II, son of the late James Herbert and Sarah Hagan Spears.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannie; two daughters, Wanda Baker and Connie Spears, both of Bowling Green, KY; three sons and daughters-in-law, Samuel and Gladys Spears, Springfield, TN; Raymond and Jeanie Spears, Franklin, KY; Kenneth and Janette Spears, Goodletsville, TN; a sister, Hazel Denney, Monticello, KY; also 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Captain John David Spears officiating. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Final resting place in Cave Springs Cemetery with Military Honors. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
