Jimmie Edward Smith, 74, Albany, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2016 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was the son of the late William Edward and Ethel (Gilreath) Smith and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Lee Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Eloise (Tallent) Smith; three sons and daughter-in-law, Douglas Edward and Katrina Smith, Chris Smith, all of Albany; Rodney Aaron and Rebecca Smith, Columbia, KY; two daughters and sons-in-law, Joy Denise and David Bowlin and Jenny and Jason Harlan, all of Albany; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Elmer Clay and Shirley Smith, Pine Knot, KY; Leonard Smith, Edinburgh, IN; James Oliver and Debbie Smith, Martinsville, IN; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Howard Tallent, Albany; Ann and Homer Goodman, Oneida, TN; also 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
