Strong storms that moved through the area last Wednesday night caused a large tree at Wolf River Marina to break and destroy a vacation home that was located on “Level One” of the multi-tier stretch where several vacation homes are located.

A neighbor told the Clinton County News Thursday morning that no one was home when the tree fell and destroyed the home. The owners’ primary home is in Ashland, Kentucky, according to the neighbor.
