Ralph Summers

Ralph Summers, 85, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky and a native of Albany, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. He was a 1950 graduate of Clinton County High School, a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the Air Force, and taught school for 33 years in Hardin County. He attended Ridge Springs United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Vera Leveridge Summers, and three brothers, James, Frank, and Earl Summers.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Ann Summers, Elizabethtown; one daughter, Teresa (Lt. Col. Dennis) Cash, also of Elizabethtown; one niece, Jane (Van) Phillips, Monticello, Kentucky; two nephews, Greg (Wendy) Summers, Elizabethtown, and Joe (Michelle) Summers, Albany; and one sister-in-law, Iva Lee Summers, Albany.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 25, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. Rev. Don Sexton and Rev. Alisa Carman officiated. Burial was in Ridge Springs Methodist Church Cemetery, Rineyville, Kentucky.
