Baseball team falls against Russell County

Jeffery Collins missed a throw to get the out as a Russell County runner doubled back to second last week. The Bat Dawgs lost the game 14-0 in five innings. The team moves to 17-11 on the year.

Zach Garmon fielded a ground ball and barely made it back to first base in time to get the runner out. Clinton County lost the game 14-0 against the Lakers.

Eli Baker made the tag at home to prevent a Russell County runner from scoring Tuesday at John Emmitt Polston Field. Clinton County lost the game, 14-0, and lost a game on Monday of this week to Adair County, 5-0. The Bat Dawgs played Casey County on Tuesday, too late for press deadline, and will host Monroe County on Thursday for Senior Night. Thursday night’s game starts at 5 p.m. The Bat Dawgs are 17-11 on the year.
