Softball team picks up win against Casey

Shortstop Cori Langford made the tag in time as a Casey County runner tried to steal second base. The Lady Bat Dawgs won the game 12-2 in five innings. Clinton County has a record of 8-11. With less than a week remaining in the regular season, Clinton County will travel to Metcalfe County Monday to play in the first round of the district tournament as a number four seed. Clinton County will face Cumberland County in the opening round at 5:30 p.m.

Kelsie Patrick made contact in the first inning of Monday’s game against Casey County. The Lady Bat Dawgs moved to 8-11 on the year with the 12-2 win over the Lady Rebels.

Mackenzie Polston put a ball in play Monday afternoon as the Lady Bat Dawgs hosted Casey County for Senior night. Clinton County won the game, 12-2 in five innings.
