Albany VFW Post #1096 annual Bicycle Derby was held Saturday, May 21 at the VFW Post/Ballfield on Hopkins Street in Albany for all children ages 2-13. The event is sponsored by VFW Post #1096, American Legion Post #135 and many local businesses. The bicycle derby gave away 15 new bicycles and four new helmets to those who participated. The Albany VFW Post wants to thank all the sponsors for their donations.
