Second baseman Cory Arms turned a double play to get out of an inning during Clinton County’s first round of the 16th District Tournament on Monday. The Bat Dawgs defeated Russell County, 1-0, to move on to the championship game Tuesday night, too late for press deadline, and to move on to the 4th Region Tournament at Western Kentucky University on Monday, May 30.

Zack Garmon hit a single to left field during the top of the fourth inning. Holden Shepard pinched ran for Garmon after reaching first base. Below, Conner Duvall sacrificed bunted to move Shepard to second base. Caleb York then hit a single to left to score Shepard from second base. York was thrown out at second trying to squeeze in a double.
