Mae B. Jarvis, 90, Albany, passed away Friday, May 20, 2016 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Ovid E. and Eura Mae (Sloan) Barber and wife of the late Otis E. Jarvis.

She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Eddie Kay Jarvis, Albany; Dr. James Ovid and Pixie Jarvis, Alvaton, KY; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Bob Savage, Albany; a brother and sister-in-law, Billy Joe and Melvie Barber, Wilmington, NC; two sisters, Betty Hisle, Muncie, IN; Mary Dot Moore, Yorktown, IN; nine grandchildren, Eddie Jarvis, Jr., Rebecca Cummins, Allison Paige Jarvis, Erin Michelle Sellers, William J. Jarvis, Alec J. Jarvis, Jennifer Mae Thacker, Reba Diana Gilbert, and Matthew Howard Savage; 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 23, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Clear Fork Baptist Church with pastors Bob Sawyer and Jim England officiating. Final resting place in Albany Cemetery.
