Court docket sees a heavy load for May

The following is the docket for Clinton District Court held on Tuesday, May 10, 2016.

• David R. Emert, alcohol intoxication is a public place first and second offence. Plea of guilty, $25 fine plus cost.

• Rodney J. Manis, failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance first offence, $500 fine plus cost with $450 suspended for two years with no like offences. Plea of guilty.

• William J. Hogan, five counts of theft by unlawful taking or disposition, gasoline under $500, plea of guilty, $25 fine for each count plus cost. To serve 365 days in jail, probated to 30 days with eight days credit with no like offenses.

• Tohawnee K. Davidson, public intoxication with a controlled substance, plea of guilty, 38 days to serve with 38 days credit. Fine of $25 plus cost.

• James N. Condreay, speeding 21 miles per hour over the speed limit, and failure to maintain required insurance, plea of guilty, $25 fine plus cost.

• David A. Cobb, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security first offence, plea of guilty, $500 fine with $450 suspended for one year. Can keep liability insurance.

• Billy J. Butler, theft by deception-including cold checks, plea of guilty, 30 days probated one year until $151 is paid to Albany Exxon at the rate of $30 per month.

• April Scott, criminal littering, plea of guilty, $50 fine plus cost.

Paul Eric Ritchie, reckless driving, plea of guilty, $140 fine to be paid by June 29, 2016.

• Junior R. Neal, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, plea of guilty, $500 fine with $450 suspended two years, can keep liability insurance.

• Karla R. Martin, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, plea of guilty, $500 fine with $450 suspended two years, can keep liability insurance.

• Brandon K. Garrett, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, plea of guilty, $500 fine with $450 suspended two years, can keep liability insurance.

• Vanessa M. Ferrell, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, plea of guilty, $500 fine with $450 suspended two years, can keep liability insurance.

• Misty D. Duvall, controlled substance prescription not in original container in the first degree, plea of guilty, $25 fine plus cost. To serve 60 days probated two years with no like offenses and no violation of the law.

• Kirensa D. Dishman, speeding 10 miles per hour over the speed limit, plea of guilty, failure to use child restraint device in vehicle, diverted six months with no like offenses. Fine plus cost.

• Billie R. Burton, theft by unlawful taking from building, plea of guilty, $50 fine plus cost, to serve 30 days probated two years with no violation of the law and no contact with James Guffey.

• Jimmy Smith, fleeing or evading police in the second degree (on foot), plea of guilty, to serve 180 days probated for two years with no violation of the law.

• Shela A. Young, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, plea of guilty, $500 fine with $450 suspended two years, can keep liability insurance. Failure to wear seat belts, plea of guilty, $25 fine.

• Wendy J. Phillips, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs first offence, plea of guilty, $200 fine, $375 service fee, 30 days suspended licenses and must attend ADE classes.

• Billy J. Butler, theft by deception-including cold checks, plea of guilty, 30 days probated one year until $436.25 is paid to Country Mart at the rate of $35 per month with no like offenses.

• Duncan Boyd, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, plea of guilty, $500 fine with $450 suspended two years.
