Come up one run shy of advancing to second round of regional tournament

The Clinton County Bat Dawgs finished as runners-up in the 16th District Tournament Tuesday night after falling to Metcalfe County in the championship game, 8-2. Clinton County fell to South Warren during the first round of the regional tournament, 3-2. Clinton County finished the year with a 20-14 record.

Caleb York grabbed a base hit during Tuesday’s championship game of the district tournament against Metcalfe County.

Michael Collins threw a ball in from the outfield during Tuesday night’s game. Clinton County finished the tournament with runners-up honors.

Eli Baker got under a ball for an out Tuesday night. The Bat Dawgs lost to Metcalfe County, 8-2.
