Several members of the Healthy Hometown Coalition met last week at the Clinton County Board of Education office to discuss several plans on tap for the summer season. Among those issues are the future purchase and installation of an addition to the playground equipment installed last year at Mountain View Park. The new equipment would be geared toward the “toddler” aged playground user and will be purchased and installed within the next few weeks. The Coalition also plans on partnering with the upcoming July 4 programs at Mountain View Park to offer youth exercise opportunities during the celebration.

The Healthy Hometown Coalition is made up of a broad cross-section of volunteers from the community that includes both adults and high school students who seek ways to provide healthier lifestyle options for the citizens of Albany and Clinton County.
