Elizabeth Tallent Pickens, Salem, Indiana and formerly of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away Friday, May 27, 2016. She was the daughter of the late James Porter and Matilda Albertson Tallent, wife of the late Norman C. Pickens and was also preceded in death by a brother, four sisters and a grandson. She attended Bunker Hill Church in Salem and was a member of East Main Street Methodist Church in Glasgow.

She is survived by a daughter, Helen Pickens; a son, Michael Pickens; two brothers, Hershel and Alvis Tallent; two sisters, Judy Roland and Sue Melton; also six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 30, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Stony Point Baptist Church in Clinton County with final resting place in Albany Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home of Glasgow.
