Class of 1961 to hold

55th reunion

The Class of 1961 will have its 55th reunion on July 9, 2016 at the RECC Building from 1-5 p.m. Everyone who started with us in the fall of 1957 is invited. We do not care whether you graduated or not, we would just like to see everyone again.

Our class is one of the few classes that has its big reunions without a meal, so our reunions are free, no reservations are required. Our main goal is to catch up on what is going on in everyone’s life, and everyone gets a chance to tell their story. We do not have tables except for drinks and snacks and the seating arrangement encourages everyone to talk with everyone else. Someone from the calling committee will be trying to get in touch with you, but if you do not get called, maybe we do not have your phone number.

It saddens all of us that our President, Clement Shelley, passed away since our last reunion. John Morgan, our Vice President will take over Clement’s place. We are inviting all living CCHS faculty who were there when we were to join us. Elizabeth Summers, Lindle Castle, Norma Jean Hunter, Leta Kaye Campbell Shelton, and Mary Agnes Sawyers will be hearing from the committee. If we left anyone out, you are invited to. Please make every effort to attend. If you have any questions call Tim Cantrell at 859-361-1486.
