The Sons of Confederate Veterans, Myers-Zollicoffer Camp 1990 in Livingston, welcomed a new member into the bonds of fraternal brotherhood at its monthly meeting on June 16th. Camp Commander Tommy Phillips (right) conducts the oath of initiation to Michael A. Beaty, Albany, who was elected a member of the SCV upon the service record of his Confederate Ancestor 1st Lieutenant Alvin C. Beaty with Company E, 17 Regiment, Arkansas Infantry.
