The Clinton County Football team held its first annual football camp on June 11. The camp was a great success with 27 campers learning new skills including offensive stance and starts, formation, blocking drills, running back tracks, receiver routes, quarterback drills and passing game. On defense, campers learned stance and starts, alignments, form tackle drills, defensive lineman skills, pass drop and coverages. At the end of camp, all campers participated in four areas of competition: punt, pass, kick and skills.
The winners of the of the Punt, Pass, Kick and Skills for 5th – 6th grade was Malachi Upchurch, Bently Boils and Adam Dillon Whittenburg.
The winners of the of the Punt, Pass, Kick and Skills for 1st – 2nd grade was Edin Meadors and Lee Tallent.
The winners of the of the Punt, Pass, Kick and Skills for 3rd -4th grade was Logan Perkins, Nicholas Matthews, Brandon Hall, and Jaxon Albertson.
