Above are the winners from Tuesday night’s Teen pageant at the Clinton County Fair. From left to right are, first runner up Chloe Thomas, the daughter of Johnny and Rhonda Thomas of Russell Springs, KY; winner Regan Earlywine, the daughter of Todd and Angela Earlywine of Paris, KY; and second runner up Lauren Grant, dauthter of Anthony and Keena Grant of Columbia, KY.

Hunter’s Bar-B-Que was one of several local vendors set up at this year’s Clinton County Fair. Above, Shearer and Nate Matthews loaded up the grill with shoulder meat prior to Thursday night’s events.

Above left, Jackie Flowers announced names drawn for the tractor that was given away Friday night at the fair as spectator Angie Marcum was called upon to draw the final names from the bin. Sue Albertson was the final name drawn Friday night and the winner of this year’s tractor.

With Family Night being moved to Thursday night several years ago, there is still a host of participants who enjoy a good “egg toss.” Family night sees people of all age groups getting in on the fun with categories including sack races, shoe in the haystack, and backseat driving. This year the fair added a new event to accompany the popular hot pepper eating contest, which was the hotdog eating contest shown in the photo below. Participants had a five minute window to eat as many hotdogs as possible with Brandon Davis being named the winner.
