Construction continues to progress at a fast pace on the Albany Bypass project that will re-route U.S. 127 around the west side of Albany to the Kentucky – Tennessee boundary. Blacktopping work got underway this week in the area where the highway crosses U.S. 127 now near Crudewell Drilling about two miles north of Albany. Excavating work on the road continues to progress in the section to the north of this point where the road will join with Ky. 90 near Cumberland Corner Mart.
