James H. Riddle, 88, Albany, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the Medical Center-Albany. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sawyers Cross Riddle, was a member of Seminary United Methodist Church, veteran of the Korean Conflict, where he was Sergeant in the 15th Infantry Heavy Mortars, and was an avid horseman and founding member of the Twin Lakes Saddle Club.

He is survived by a step-daughter, Dottie Ballou, Burkesville, Kentucky; a step-son, Jeffrey Cross, Atlanta, Georgia; a sister, Jeneda Butler, Indianapolis, Indiana; three step-grandchildren, Tiffany (Dan) Myers; Jessica (Andy) Roberts and Martin (Maggie) Ballou; three step-great-grandchildren, Drew Roberts, Cecil Ballou and Lyla Myers and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Powell officiating. Final resting place in Memorial Hill Cemetery with Military Honors. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Seminary United Methodist Church.
