Lanny D. Allen, 45,of Indianapolis, Indiana, has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of Receiving Stolen Property over $10,000 and Receiving Stolen Property under $10,000 and lodged in the Adair County Jail.

On Tuesday, May 17th, 2016 the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department recovered a stolen dump truck out of Indianapolis, Indiana.

As a result of the investigation, Allen, a part time resident of Burkesville, Kentucky was identified as a suspect.

The Sheriff’s Department, in conjunction with detectives from Post 15 and the Kentucky State Police Vehicle Investigations section, executed an arrest warrant and Allen was arrested on Tuesday, July 19th.

A subsequent search of several properties led to the recovery of over $200,000 in stolen cars, farm equipment and other items.
