Wendell Hurt, 81, Denney Rd., Albany, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Carol JoAnn Hurt, member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church, and was also preceded in death by a brother, Don Hurt.

He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Terry Boils, Albany; Cheryl and Mike Long, Danville, Kentucky; a sister, Evelyn Catron, Richmond, Indiana; three brothers, James Hurt, Austin, Texas; Fred and Otis Hurt, both of Albany; five grandchildren, Mikayla Long, Nick, Nathan, Adam and Makenzie Boils; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Talbott Funeral Home with Bro. Ted Burchett and Bro. Nathan Boils officiating. Final resting place in Pine Grove Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Talbott Funeral Home of Albany.
