Joe Franklin Crawford, 75, Perry, Georgia and a native of Clinton County, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016. He was the son of the late Robert and Lena Craft Crawford and a U.S. Air Force veteran serving in Vietnam. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Roberta Wilson and Geneta Butler; a niece, Barbara Lehman; a nephew, Leon Wilson; and brother-in-law, John Mark Hamrick.

He is survived by a daughter, Seleha Wowaka (Nick), Perry, Georgia; a son, Joseph Crawford (Kristin), Davenport, Iowa; a brother-in-law, Jim Hamrick (Joyce), Kathleen, Georgia; a sister-in-law, Jama Wilson, Kansas City, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Amanda, Taylor and Sarah Svoboda; Elizabeth and Tamara Wowaka; and Jack, Jonah, and Henry Crawford; also several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Weldon Haddix Funeral Home in Albany with Bro. David Stearns officiating. Final resting place in Caney Branch Cemetery.
